The Cohort Is Well and Active!

Attending an ALA conference can be an awesome and overwhelming experience and it is nice to have fellow students with whom to share the first time. Here are a couple of pictures: (1)a Norfolk cohorter with the LISSA past president and (2) the wonderful ALA Exhibit Hall.

It has been over a month!

Now that we are into summer, we need to plan ahead.

1. Saturday, July 24 = Orientation for fall classes: to be held at Waynesboro High School, in Waynesboro, VA, from 10 - 4, with lunch
provided. See you there!

2. Saturday, July 24 - E-portfolio workshop at Waynesboro onsite: Waynesboro High School from 10 - 4, with lunch provided.

We will meet in the library on the second floor.

3. Saturday, August 28 = Graduation Celebration for those graduating anytime in 2010. Waynesboro Country Club from 2 - 4 PM

Now here is the most important part of the message: IF YOU HAVE NOT NOTIFIED DR. WALLACE THAT YOU WILL ATTEND ONE OF THESE, DO SO ASAP! EACH OF THESE IS IMPORTANT TO YOUR MLIS LIFE WITH SLIS. HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!
