I had a wonderful time at the Virginia Educational Media Association Conference held at the new Hampton Convention Center! I made many contacts and was able to distribute 100 bi-fold brochures that tell about the new fall 2007 online cohort.

Not only were there many, many interested visitors to our USC SLIS booth in the exhibit hall but also several district library coordinators and directors want to share the program with their employees.

I leave Wednesday for Chicago and the School Library Journal Summit where I will be until the weekend. Next week I will travel to VLA and hope to meet some of you in person at that time.

West Virginia Library Association

I attended the West Virginia Library Association Conference, held in Huntington, West Virginia and met many, many nice people and active librarians.

As a result, I have some names that will be coming on board through the listserv. I encourage you to join the listserv if you have not done so.

I will be leaving for VEMA on October 25 and hope to find more prospects for our upcoming WVVA Online Cohort.
